It was all jolly in Muranga as teachers throned Kimorori Primary School to be sensitised and be well informed with KEWOTAs missions and vision.
The event that was organised by KEWOTA Muranga Coordinator Mdm Winnie “The Eagle” started by a chapter leaders meeting with Julius Muthee-Microfinance manager, Ken Nyakone- Insurance-Principal Officer and Recruitment Officer-Mr Orido in-attendance. The leaders highlighted challenges they have experienced and set their working plans to collectively achieve the Association’s goals.
Later, the Association’s National Executive was later received by the hungry ears. Mdm Jacinta Ndegwa, the National Treasurer took to the stage to elaborate the 12point agendas before inviting the CEO to the curious faces.

Upon welcoming with Jubilation, Madam Benta Opande(Nyakorucho) took the precious moments to give a brief history of KEWOTA and how the Association has reached out to the needs of female teachers in the country. She took the opportunity to give a glimpse of the products we are looking forward to launching in partnership with various stakeholders. “All these products are to enrich the welfare of female teachers even beyond the classrooms.”

The curious faces and eager ears nodded with applause with 29 signing the registration forms and all promising to be agents and ambassadors of the Association.

Thanks to KEWOTA, the only association that is addresing challenges faced by teachers in Kenya. Truly a Sisters Keeper!!!
