KEWOTA OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES MURANGA CHAPTER

It was all jolly in Muranga as teachers thronged Kimorori Primary School to hear more on Kewota.
The event that was organised by KEWOTA Muranga Coordinator Mdm Winnie almaarufu “The Eagle” started by a chapter leaders meeting with Julius Muthee-Microfinance Manager, Ken Nyakone- Insurance-Principal Officer and Recruitment Officer-Mr Orido from KEWOTA.

The leaders highlighted challenges they have experienced and collectively agreed on ways to achieve the Association’s goals.

Later, the Association’s National Executive was later received by the hungry ears. Mdm Jacinta Ndegwa, the National Treasurer, took to the stage to elaborate the 12 point agendas before inviting the CEO to do justice to the audience.

Madam Benta Opande, The CEO of KEWOTA took gave a brief history of KEWOTA and how the Association has reached out to the needs of female teachers in the country.

She took the opportunity to offer a peek into the products KEWOTA is looking forward to launching in partnership with various stakeholders. “All these products are to enrich the welfare of female teachers even beyond the classrooms”

The climax of the meeting was KEWOTA signing up 29 new members.
