A teacher can now breath a sigh of relief after KEWOTA stepped in to help her send her bright daughter to school.
Grace Achoki, a teacher at Barkowino Primary school, Bondo Township, whose daughter scored 360 marks, has been facing financial challenges that merited KEWOTA’s intervention.
“Teachers just like other, also face financial challenges. When such challenges are brought to our attention, we help therefore we decided to offset the balance of term one’s fees,” said KEWOTA CEO Benta Opande.
Rita Caroline, was admitted to Rang’ala Girls and is now fully settled in school.
” I am greatful KEWOTA for coming to my financial aid. I have been seriously overwhelmed because there are other children in school whose fees I have to pay, ” she Grace.
