I have received with sadness the news of the passing on of former Cabinet Secretary of Education, Prof George Omore Magoha.
His death comes at a time when the education sector is undertaking key reforms which were initiated under his stewardship, which comes as a blow to the education sector.
The Kenya Women Teachers Association family has lost a great friend but the heavens received a beautiful star.
In this sorrowful times, we send our deepest condolences to his family, friends and the entire education sector. May the fond memories of Prof Magoha help us all to find peace and comfort.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
