Kewota leaders have today successfully completed investment training in Kajiado.
The meeting that brought together active county and chapter coordinators who have been active in their various regions on matters table banking.
Table banking initiative is one of the initiatives by KEWOTA to empower teachers. Table Banking fully ran by coordinators and Kewota only supports with seed capital when needed.
The meeting was conducted by seasoned investment professionals Caro Ndung’u and Mercy Wambui.
The training came as a harbinger of the official launch of KEWOTA microfinance and insurance which shall be launched in next month.
Kewota is in the process of launching affordable health and insurance solutions for members.
“There are good things in store for our members. Our aim is to engage in activities that make life easier and better,” said CEO, Benta Opande.
Opande was accompanied by the KEWOTA Chair Modesta Akaki, and National Treasurer Jacinta Ndegwa.
