Kenya Women Teachers Association(KEWOTA) has always been at the forefront in empowering female teachers.
On Saturday Makueni County coordinator Madam Ruth Nditu attended the farewell party of one of their members Mrs Ann Muthini, the former Headteacher Itaa Primary School in Wote Zone,Makueni Sub-County in Makueni County who retired and has been an active member of Kewota.
Kewota in it’s generosity paid a full one year NHIF for the retired teacher because they wanted their members especially the retirees to be treated with dignity in this noble proffession.
This is one of the 12points agenda in ensuring that the members have a decent exit from service.
