This Saturday 12th November, KEWOTA has launched a two-day strategic planning seminar. The event is currently ongoing at Golden Palace Resort in Nakuru, in partnership with Sabeat Consultants. the Seminar has brought together all KEWOTA staff members, communication teams, county coordinators, and the National Executive Committee. It is part of a series of strategic planning meetings which kicked off early last month.
Even as the organization undertakes the strategy development process, the welfare group has so far registered remarkable achievements in the past years, such as the rescue of hundreds of girls from early marriage and FGM, building houses for widowed women teachers, donation of water tanks to schools and teachers in water-scarce areas, advocacy for breastfeeding centers in schools, among other accomplishes.
The strategic planning process is an initiative that will elevate the organization to better service delivery for members, more outreach, and more support for women teachers across the country.
