KEWOTA RECEIVES A MASSIVE RECEPTION AT RUMURUTI, LAIKIPIA COUNTY.
Kenya Women Teachers Association was today accorded a massive
reception at Rumuruti, Laikipia county during the association’s
sensitisation drive. The occasion was graced by KEWOTA leadership
under the stalwart of the CEO, Madam Benta Opande and Ms.
Jacinta,KEWOTA treasurer. They were flanked by Mr Orido, the IT and
data manager from head office.
The teachers from the expansive of Laikipia county thronged the hall
in abid to listen from the astute minds of the KEWOTA leadership. The
treasurer with her vast knowledge of the association’s core values,
took the teachers through the KEWOTA 12 points agenda. On the same
breath she also took the teachers through KEWOTA financial products
(microfinance and insurance)
Madam CEO on her part gave an explicit overview of KEWOTA’s history
and stressed on the importance of embracing women leadership.She
rallied women teachers to offer unwavering support for their own,both
in leadership and on welfare reforms
