On Friday the 27th of may, KEWOTA was one of the guests at the Thogoto Teachers College 67th graduation ceremony.
Our Kiambu Coordinator, Irene Githua, who represented KEWOTA at the event, delivered the message on the mission of KEWOTA and assured the congregants of KEWOTA’S commitment to achieving its strategic goals in service to the teachers.
More than 1000 students received their certificates and Diplomas in ECDE and P1 Levels.
KEWOTA team had set up an exhibition booth at the Thogoto grounds and took time to explain the Association’s role to graduates, parents, teachers, and the general public.
“I congratulate the graduands and Thogoto leadership, who are also our strong members for their admirable commitment towards improving the welfare of the teachers and working closely with KEWOTA leadership in service to current and potential members in line with our 12-point agenda, ” said the CEO, Benta Opande at a separate event where she engaged other stakeholders.
