KEWOTA, represented by the coordinator for Muranga county, and two support secretariat from the headquarters attended the secondary schools’ event at Kigari TTC.
As one of the sponsors of the event, the KEWOTA head office had donated 40 crates of water for the participants.
The event took place at Kigari Teachers Training College, for two days.
KEWOTA had set up a tent where teachers and other stakeholders visited and showed a lot of interest in the organization and the work it has achieved so far. Several teachers participating in the event got recruited.
Speaking during the official opening of the event, the KEWOTA coordinator took the officials through the KEWOTA 12-point agenda and persuaded the education stakeholders to support KEWOTA in the push for the implementation of breastfeeding centers in schools.
